Founded as Citizens Bank of Lafayette in 1909, Wellworth Bank opened our doors with $12,000 in capital. Today, our total assets have grown to nearly $2 billion, but our heart and our commitment to community care remain the same. Since joining with other like-minded local banks throughout Middle Tennessee, including Farmers and Merchants Bank, the Bank of Celina, Smith County Bank, Liberty State Bank, Traders Bank, and American Bank & Trust of the Cumberlands, we are now the 16th largest bank headquartered in Tennessee. Together, we’re able to do so much more for the communities we serve.
